Death Stranding composer is already recording for a new Kojima game

Composer Ludvig Forssell followed Kojima when he left Konami, and is now conducting a socially-distanced orchestra for a new soundtrack.

A COVID composed piece for Kojima Productions next project

The music is for an unannounced Kojima Productions game. Forssell also composed for Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Number Two: Rumours have claimed that the new project is a sequel to Death Stranding, and Norman Reedus has apparently been talking to Kojima about starring in another game. Kojima has also indicated that he'd love to make a horror game, and that he's interested in making something a bit smaller one day.

Work with Hideo: Kojima said that we might see smaller episodic titles from the studio while they're working on something bigger, and that he would like to try to design a game format suitable for cloud gaming. Kojima Productions is currently hiring, so if you're an ace game developer and would like to work in Tokyo, now's your chance!

Bethesda accused of sabotaging Rune 2

Ragnarok Game amends their lawsuit against Human Head Studios to include ZeniMax and Bethesda Softworks.

Rune 2: Decapitation Edition launches November 13, 2020

ZeniMax and Bethesda are accused of sabotaging the development of Rune 2, Human Head's last game. Publisher Ragnarok Game was baffled to find that Human Head shut down the day Rune 2 launched, only to be resurrected as Roundhouse Studios, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bethesda Softworks.

A conspiracy: Ragnarok Game claims ZeniMax and Human Head management planned the turnabout in order to avoid responsibility for supporting Rune 2 after launch. Ragnarok Game initially only demanded the Rune 2 source code and assets, but soon expanded the scope of their suit.

Sabotage: They claim that Bethesda and ZeniMax were trying to protect the Elder Scrolls series from competition by sabotaging Rune 2, and are seeking no less than $100 million dollars in addition to punitive damages and legal costs.

What song plays in the intro for Fallout: New Vegas?

ANSWER: Blue Moon!

Without a love of my own

It’s not a real Fallout game if it doesn’t start with a classic American pop song, and Fallout: New Vegas opens with an old Sinatra tune. New Vegas is the most unusual entry in the series, developed by Obsidian Entertainment who also worked on Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords and Neverwinter Nights 2.

Obsidian is famous for subverting the series they work on, and focusing on their own vision rather than simply creating a follow-up. New Vegas is more reminiscent of the early Fallout games, with their desert settings and occasionally absurd storylines. It’s been 10 years since Fallout: New Vegas was released, so now’s a great time to return to the Nevada desert and listen to Big Iron again and again.
