Babylon’s Fall closed beta on PC soon
PlatinumGames has confirmed that the closed beta for its upcoming live service game Babylon's Fall will launch in a limited set of regions before being rolled out to everyone who registered by mid-August.
This will be the first phase of closed beta testing, which is limited to Steam on PC. There will be two more phases later that will include PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as well.
- July 29th: Japan
- August 5th: North America
- August 12th: Europe
- Beta characters will not carry over to full release
- Sharing media or information about the game is prohibited
New territory: PlatinumGames has called Babylon’s Fall a “new challenge”, presumably because it is the first live service game the developer has created. Babylon's Fall was first revealed in June 2018 and has only shown a few signs of life since then.
Post-launch: Square Enix re-announced Babylon's Fall in June and revealed that it will be a live service game that will be regularly updated and can be played with up to four players cooperatively.
