Crysis 4 has been announced by Crtyek

Crysis 4 announcement teaser

Crytek has announced that “the next Crysis game is happening!”. The working title is Crysis 4, and the only proof of life is a brief teaser trailer with absolutely no in-game footage.

The trailer shows a burning star complete with solar flares, and the exotic material the series' iconic powered armor is made from being shaped into the number 4.

  • Crysis 4 Announcement trailer
  • No details about storyline or features
  • The Crysis Remastered Trilogy was released for PC and consoles last year
  • Crysis 3 originally launched in February 2013

Still early: “Right now the game is in the early stages of development so it will be a while yet, but we wanted to bring you the news at this time as we are so hyped for the future, and to let you know that we will be listening to our community,” said Crytek CEO Avni Yerli.

Support: Crytek also announced that they have “some great things planned” for Hunt: Showdown, and that the game remains a top priority.

Blizzard working on new survival game

Concept artwork of Blizzard’s survival IP

Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that the company is working on a new, unannounced survival game based on an all-new fantasy IP.

“A place full of heroes we have yet to meet, stories yet to be told, and adventures yet to be lived. A vast realm of possibility, waiting to be explored,” according to Blizzard, who serves the hype with a side dish of tantalizing concept art.

Discovery: The artwork shows what appears to be a portal between the modern world and a fantasy realm, grey and drab modern architecture contrasted against a floating castle adorned with a mass of spires.

Fresh IP: This will be the first new IP from Blizzard since Overwatch, and will target both PC and consoles. When will it be out? When it's done, presumably.

New mod tools for Crusader Kings 3

Crusader Kings 3’s new custom UI widgets

Paradox Development Studios has revealed new modding tools for Crusader Kings 3 that will be included in the upcoming Royal Court expansion.

An in-game editor allows you to customize the new royal court environments and everything in them, including new UI elements with features like buttons and tooltips.

Game rules: Same-sex relationships were already an optional part of the game system, but now it's fully integrated rather than an option enabled by mods.

Testing tools: There will also be a broader range of modifiers available for characters and buildings, along with new tools for debugging them. There is also a slew of new console commands to make it easier to test mods.

Paradox Interactive finally revealed a release date for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions, which will be launching on the 29th of March.

Which department does Cole Phelps end up working for in L.A. Noire?

Cole Phelps questions a suspect during the first case in the Arson department

ANSWER: Arson!

L.A. Noire offered pretty big leaps in animation and presentation, even if it essentially broke developer Team Bondi in the process. Spanning three DVDs on Xbox 360 (and a single blu-ray on PlayStation 3), L.A. Noire is sprawling, to say the least, and the rollercoaster ride includes main character Detective Cole Phelps being demoted from the vice division to arson due to an affair that goes public.

No cloud without a silver lining though: The demotion reveals a great conspiracy that shows just how corrupt Los Angeles really is. Oh, and if you wonder why Phelps' partner Herschel Biggs sounds so familiar, it's because he's played by Keith Szarabajka who also voiced The Burned Man in Fallout: New Vegas.

Who's the Rock going to be playing as next, Kratos, Duke Nukem, or Tom Nook?
