CyberPowerPC unveil its Kinetic Series PC case design at CES 2022
The Consumer Electronics Show 2022 is currently underway in Las Vegas, and the “most influential tech event” in the world will not let a pandemic steal its thunder. While the show features everything from space technology to robot cats, there is also some hot gaming gear on display.
The CyberPowerPC Kinetic series is a cutting-edge desktop computer case “deeply inspired by Kinetic Architecture,” where the structure is not rigid but actually moves and changes shape depending on the situation, which CyberPowerPC promises is “not just for design’s sake, but with purpose.”
- CyberPowerPC Kinetic Series Gaming PCs – the First of Their Kind
- Real-time airflow adjustments based on the internal temperature
- Constantly adapting with micro-adjustments
- “Not about maximum airflow, but intelligent airflow”
Real-time: The front of the case is made from segmented modules that can contract or spread to increase or decrease the airflow based on real-time readings of the system temperature.
Smart flow: The design displayed at the show has a Deus Ex vibe to it, and features 18 individually controlled vents that contract and expand to optimize the case's internal temperature. Undeniably cool, but is it really that much more helpful than fans with variable speed?
