Fan helps Rockstar fix crazy loading times

An enterprising fan with a penchant for debugging discovered why Grand Theft Auto Online for PC has such catastrophic loading times, and posted an explanation online.

The load time fix will only help speed up PC

Now Rockstar is incorporating the fix in the next update, reducing loading times by as much as 70%. The fix involves fixing a redundant JSON integrity check that would recheck all the read data every time a new byte was loaded in.

Saving time: T0ST described the fix on his website and shared it via GitHub, but insisted that it was more of a proof of concept than a fix, and that it would not be easy for the average user to apply it.

10,000 thanks: Fortunately, Rockstar quickly decided to apply the fix themselves, and rewarded T0ST no less than $10,000 for the trouble. The company's bug bounty program is typically reserved for security-related work, but Rockstar figured that saving literally hundreds of years of people's time was worth recognizing.

Which wrestler dressed up as Sans from Undertale for Halloween?

ANSWER: Kenny Omega!

He calls upon the power of Sans from Undertale... they actually said that during the match

Wrestling is filled with twists, turns and piledrivers but it’s safe to say that appearing in the ring dressed as the chubby skeleton from Undertale is still out of the ordinary. During a 2019 Halloween match, Kenny Omega donned a Sans costume and joined the tag team The Young Bucks to help them fight The Hybrid 2 and Kip Sabian. His entrance music was, of course, Meglovania.

It’s not the first time Kenny Omega paid homage to Undertale. He collaborated with Undertale developer Toby Fox for an entrance in Wrestle Kingdom 13 where he dressed like Kris from Deltarune for his fight against Hiroshi Tanahashi. In short, Kenny Omega is a bit of a geek, and that’s what makes him so adorable.
