Bust ghosts in 4v1 cross-platform co-op

‘Enemies’ real-time cinematic teaser

Illfonic has announced Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, an online co-op ghost hunting extravaganza where you chase and trap ghosts in prisons, museums, hotels and other locations.

One player can of course control the ghost, and “hide, sneak, surprise, scare, and of course, slime Ghostbusters and civilians” to try and frighten off the team hunting you.

  • Coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
  • ‘Hunt or Haunt’ 4v1 co-op multiplayer
  • Supports cross-play between all platforms
  • Epic Games Store exclusive on PC

Brief tease: The announcement trailer shows the game from both ghost and buster perspective, demonstrating the Ghostbusters' gadgets and the ghosts' spooky powers and ability to possess items.

80s homage: Winston Zeddemore and Ray Stantz make appearances as NPCs along with the iconic firehouse as well as familiar ghost hunting technology like proton packs and ghost traps. Most importantly, it looks like the game manages to preserve the general zaniness of the classic movies.

CD Projekt has not revealed The Witcher 4

Unconfirmed Witcher school medallion

CD Projekt RED has announced a new saga in the Witcher series, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's The Witcher 4. Of course, it could be and maybe it is, but CD Projekt RED remains pretty coy about it.

“Right now, we are not discussing any specifics in terms of story, characters, mechanics, or plot details,” said the studio's global PR director Radek Grabowski.

Wolf or Cat: The announcement showed a Witcher medallion in the snow, and fans have already pored over it and started launching theories about what type of Witcher school it’s for.

Far too early: Some fans believe Ciri could be the hero this time since she was playable for a chapter in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and is a bit of a fan favourite. All we know for certain is that the new game is developed using Unreal Engine 5.

You can finally organize your Switch apps

Selecting software for a new group

Do you have a big collection of games on Switch? Is it a total mess that makes you wish you could parcel it up into tidy categories and organize it? Then this is your lucky day because Switch system software 14.0.0 introduces the power to Create New Groups!

You can make new folders where you can group games and apps to your heart's content. You can learn everything about it from this handy online guide.

Hundreds: You can have up to a hundred groups and up to 200 items per group. You can also add more than one shortcut to a single item, so your Mario games could be categorized under Nintendo games, Platform games, and Mario games at the same time.

Keep tidy: There is one limitation though: You need more than 12 games and apps on your system before the new groups feature becomes available. Great excuse to pick up some new games!

What happened to Cinnabar Island in Pokemon Gold & Silver?

Cinnabar Volcano as it looked in the Pokemon anime

ANSWER: It was destroyed by a volcano!

Pokémon Gold & Silver blew everyone's minds because it allowed players to return to the Kanto region from Pokémon Red & Blue, although memory restrictions necessitated some cuts. Most notably Cinnabar Island, which is mostly uninhabitable.

The explanation is that the volcano on Cinnabar has erupted and ruined everything on the island and forced the local gym to move to Seafoam Islands. It's a tidy little explanation, and at least there's still a Pokémon center.

The question is, would you rather be hunter or haunter?
