Into the Starfield: Made for Wanderers video diary

Bethesda has published a new developer diary video about Starfield, which discusses the game design philosophy and how it aims to “allow every player to create their own story”.

The video features design director Emil Pagliarulo, lead quest designer Will Shen, lead artist Istavan Pely and game director Todd Howard having a nice chat for about five minutes.

  • Starfield is Bethesda’s new original sci-fi RPG
  • Scheduled for launch on PC and Xbox on November 11th
  • Much more involved character creation than before

Player choice: "The more we can put you in the situation where you're going to decide – that's what makes video games the best form of entertainment that they are,” said Howard.

Interactivity: They talk about gameplay and revealed a robot companion called Vasco. Interacting with companions is a major priority for the team, and Starfield will feature a persuasion minigame for NPC conversations.

Uncharted could be coming to PC in July

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection artwork

Steam now requires studios to submit internal launch dates for games, and that means we have a better idea of when Sony is planning to launch Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC.

According to SteamDB, the Uncharted collection is scheduled for launch in July, although it's still possible that these dates are not real and are just provided to comply with Steam's requirements.

Not-so-internal: Sony has already confirmed that Uncharted will be out on PC this year, so the July date seems reasonable. Other hopefully indicative release windows have been revealed as well: Sonic Frontiers, Sega's upcoming open-world Sonic adventure, is apparently scheduled to launch on September 1st.

God of PC ports: PlayStation Studios has been pretty satisfied with the performance of its formerly console exclusive games, such as Santa Monica Studios' critically acclaimed God of War which found considerable success on PC.

What can you race in Shenmue II?

ANSWER: Ducks!

Shenmue II is full of fine details, and was a true milestone when it released in 2001. It was filled with vivid locations and characters as well as loads of minigames, including one most players will never encounter: Duck racing. If you wanna see the feathers fly, you must unlock both the big bronze medal and the big silver medal.

That means you need to win Roll It On Top five times in a row, and then you need to beat both Eileen M. Edelweiss and Izumi Takano at the Pine Game Arcade. Once you do, Takano will take you to the duck race track around the Tomato convenience store. We salute your deviousness, Suzuki!

Just a quick heads up to say that one of our favourite games of 2021 is having a free weekend on PC, from today you can download and play Chivalry 2 until the 21st March on the Epic Games Store. You´re indeed brave, Sir Knight, but the fight is mine…
