Weekly Deals Roundup

What are ya buyin’?

Happy Saturday, everyone! Gather around for some smashing gaming deals.

We imagine console owners will be very happy with our selection this week as we’ve included a number of PS4, Xbox One and Switch deals. The PlayStation Store has discounted a number excellent games, offering savings as high as 81%. Similar savings can be found on the Nintendo eShop with some games costing less than £1. There’s even something in the mix for Android users!

European Deals

Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition (Xbox One) £7.99 @ Microsoft Store

Vikings – Wolves of Midgard (PS4) £8.99 @ PlayStation Store

BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION (PS4) £8.99 @ PlayStation Store

Cat Quest (PS4) £4.99 @ PlayStation Store

Shadow of Death: Dark Knight – Stickman Fighting (Android) Free @ Google Play Store

The Long Reach (Switch) £1.29 @ Nintendo eShop

Ninjin: Clash of Carrots (Switch) £0.89 @ Nintendo eShop

Our game of the week is BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION for the PlayStation 4. You know when you hear old people say things like, “they don’t make them like they used to,” well, this can be applied to Blazblue. When it comes to anime fighters, it doesn’t get any crazier than the Blazblue series, and Centralfiction in particular is the culmination of everything the series has to offer in one complete package. For anime fans, this really is a no-brainer, all for under a tenner.

Have a great weekend with your family and friends, and we’ll see you next week!

US Deals

It wouldn’t be the weekend without some free games!

Epic Games are giving away Ruiner and Nuclear Throne this week so be sure to sign into the store to claim those while you can. If you’ve ever been interested in trying out The Elder Scrolls Online, you can also play it for free for this weekend on Steam. Fanatical are running another one of their Pick & Mix deals which lets you purchase ten games for just under $6 – which is a crazy saving!

Nuclear Throne & Ruiner (PC) Free @ Epic Games Store

The Elder Scrolls Online (PC) Free Weekend @ Steam Store

American Truck Simulator (PC) $4.99 @ Steam Store

Dead Cells (PC) $19.99 @ Steam

Sandbox Pick & Mix Bundle: Jalopy, Savage Lands, The Last Leviathan, Enforcer: Police Crime Action, Shoppe Keep, Better Late Than DEAD, Super Inefficient Golf, CastleMiner Z, The Mims Beginning, FortressCraft Evolved!, FarSky, Blockland, VoidExpanse, Valnir Rok & Who’s Your Daddy (PC) 3 for $2.49/5 for $3.49/10 for $5.99 @ Fanatical

XCOM 2 (Xbox One) $4.99 @ New Egg

BioShock: The Collection (PC) $14.99 @ Steam Store

If we could only pick one game from this list, it would have to be Dead Cells. To be quite honest, the discount isn’t as heavy as the rest of the games on the list, however, Dead Cells has been constantly updated since it officially launched back in 2018 without players having to pay any additional costs. To give you a brief pitch on Dead Cells, it’s a roguelike-metroidvania game, and yes, it really is as good as that sounds. Those of you that own Game Pass or Origin Access will be pleased to know Dead Cells is on both of these services, so now you really have no valid excuse to miss out on this modern classic.

There’s nothing better than chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool. Enjoy your weekend, gamers!
